Innovative Young Minds - Eve Comber

Eve Comber was our guest on Monday 24th November to let us know how she got on at the 2025 Innovative Young Minds (IYM) program earlier in the year.

Eve spoke about the activities and meetings where she had an opportunity to explore what life working in the world of technology would be like. It included visits to the Wellington Medical School, Otago University, Ferrier Institute, Milky Way Kiwi, Indoor Planetarium, NIWA (Earth Sciences Institute), Wellington Airport, and BRANZ. The

course finished with a reception at Parliament and a Graduation Ceremony

Johnsonville Rotary has been proud to sponsor students for this IYM program for many years. Feedback from participants has been very positive. It is designed to assist young women to:
