Toot 4 Tucker 2022 – Thank you

Johnsonville Rotary would like to thank the residents of Johnsonville and Churton Park for their support for the Toot 4 Tucker food collection in November. Toot 4 Tucker collects food for Kiwi Community Assist (KCA) foodbanks. The club would also like to thank the Fire crews from Johnsonville Volunteer Fire Brigade for walking the streets with Rotary club members to collect the food from residents. During the collection there was an opportunity for many of our younger residents to climb up into the Fire Engine and see what it was like for themselves. This year KCA followed the Fire Engine so that the food collected could be taken directly to the distribution centre. The collection was featured in the 17th November edition of the Wellington Independent Herald.
